Just imagine trying to remember who's who with each of these cute faces. Yes, we've pretty much figured it all out... and, we plan to have a lot more pictures posted soon, but it has been more time consuming than we had expected! | Yippee-doodle! I am delighted to share with you the long awaited kitten galleries, staring each kitten individually. Wow... I cannot believe how long it took to do all these pictures, but I really wanted to provide plenty of pictures so you could get a sneak-peak of what these babies look like. We are thrilled to present to you the Mez babies and hope you enjoy the pictures. The kittens were only 3 weeks old when we took these pictures and they were not crawling yet, and still very newborn in looks and behavior. We will be providing more information as they get older and their personality starts to shine through. We also plan to post updated pics when they are a bit older. As long as the kittens are too young to go to their permanent homes or there are kittens available, you can find their litter pages linked from this page. Once the kittens are all adopted, we move the litter page and kitten galleries to Adopted Kittens so they remain accessible for new visitors to see what we produce and for the adopting families to reference. Of course, if you are interested in an up-coming Encore baby, make sure to visit our planned litter to see what we are planning in the not-so-distant future. Enjoy!
Location? As you can see, we have litters in 3 different locations: San Francisco bay area, Seattle area, and the Portland area. We discovered this approach by accident when we were in the process of moving and needed temporary "baby sitters" while we moved. It worked out so well that we continue to use this approach. It allows Encore to have a bigger gene pool that facilitates healthier and more gorgeous babies without compromising our high-standards of care and excellence. By having some of our queens with our dear friends (we affectionately refer to as "Foster Parents"), this ensures that each kitten from each litter is handled with utmost love, attention, and care. None of our cats are *ever* caged! They are born and raised in our bedrooms, learn to hang out in the living room and enjoy exploring the dishwasher and clanging kettles. By having foster parents in multiple locations, we also have more flexibility for our adopting families and a wider selection to chose from. Each of our foster parents welcome visitors to come meet our Encore babies, even if you are interested in adopting a kitten from a litter in a different location.
