| About 4 months old, we reserved these kittens for the Encore breeding program, and they have been in Ali's loving care. However, as much as we all love them - and they are truly endearing - regretfully we cannot keep them in the program. We are looking for a loving home who to adopt these special girls. Ali has given us this description of their personalities:
Porsche (C'est La Vie x Fire) is Cherish's romping buddy! Her personality is pure sweetness. This purrster has the softest pelt, and the most beautiful marbling--almost as stunningly gorgeous as her brother, Triumph. Her mother, C'est la Vie, has the most wonderful, sweet, adoring temperament, and it is ever so apparent that she has passed it to all her kittens, including Porsche. Porsche comes and visits us at our feet in the kitchen, winding in and out of our legs a few times just to say hi, and she gazes lovingly into my eyes when she visits me at my desk. And then... there's Chera: .JPG) Cherish - aka Chera
(daughter of Concerto and Rebel) is the sweetest imp imaginable. She loves to play "retriever," and when she wakes up or when we come home from being out, she stretches her little paws and mews at us until we notice her and tell her how much we love her. She likes to sit on our shoulders in the kitchen or from there hops to the top of the fridge and watches us work. She is loving and purry and gentle, with such a playful, fun energy. In spite of Cherish's dark color, she has an elegant (impish) face with a lovely wild profile. She is very dark and has a wild panther look to her. If you like black-on-black, you will *love* Cherish. We will soon get some pictures of Cherish. And, in the interim, please feel free to call or email for more information.
Both the girls love hanging out with and on us; they follow us around the house, checking to see if we are doing anything interesting (everything is interesting to them!). If we are sitting or lying down, they both come and flop on or next to us. If I have to get up, and one is on my lap, I often carry her with me--both of them love that. They get along beautifully with the other cats in the house, and they are great with the litter box.

They are just the most wonderful creatures. It was such a disappointment to learn that they cannot be bred (each for very different reasons). I intended to keep them as pets anyway, because we love them so much, but after much hand-wringing and soul-searching, I have chosen to put my energies toward helping raise more Encore kittens. I don't want to spread myself too thin, and I just know there is a special heart out there longing and waiting for these special girls to come fill the empty spot in their life. Dare I be so selfish? I think not! .JPG) I love these girls, they are so special... Porsche and Cherish are such great friends, and I would like to place them together if at all possible. This is what I feel I should do. It's so cool to watch them play and sleep together--they do a great job of entertaining each other, and us!
